The Sandstone Chapel
An intimate chapel featuring original sand stone walls dating back to 1883 and large 3 arch windows with a view of the 1900’s cement bridge that spans over the Suikerbos River. This venue seats a maximum of 80 guests for a wedding Ceremony or 60 guests when used for a private function.

The White Aviary
A white Cape winelands themed venue with a domed-shaped roof and large sliding doors that open to the large lawn area and The Century Tree, ideal for both a wedding ceremony or a wedding reception. This venue seats up to 150 guests for a wedding ceremony and 120 guests for a wedding reception or 50 guests using only the extension hall for a private function

The Banqueting Hall
A large cozy double volume thatch roofed venue with an adjacent sandstone Buffet Hall. The venue has fairy lights in the roof and draping over the dance floor area as well as an installed professional sound system. This venue seats up to 130 guests with a dance floor area and has Buffet Hall linked to it where the food is served to guests. The Chill Out lounge area is linked to the Hall and has comfortable sofas as well as a TV and DVD player to keep the little kids entertained for the night.

The Century Tree
A 100 year old Blue Gum tree, a popular spot for cocktails and canapes or an outdoor summer wedding ceremony and can also be used as a picnic spot as the branches and leaves of the Century Tree forms a natural shaded canopy above. This outdoor venue seats up to 100 guests for an outdoor garden wedding ceremony or 100 guests seated at tables for a private function.

The Bridal Suite
A plush Bridal Suite connected to the 1883 Farmhouse, that has with a large sand stone en-suite bathroom, an adjacent lounge area with comfortable sofas and an outside door that leads to the sandstone courtyard. The Bridal Suite can be used by the Bridal Party for dressing on the day as well as over-night stay for the newly wedded couple with an optional breakfast for two served the next morning.

The White House & River Estate
15 hectares of open space including a riverfront with a Willow Tree forest and a perfect view of the remains of the old bridge built in the 1900’s. The old icon Windmill, The White 1900's Cape Dutch House, the Fountain area, The Century Tree and the vast open grassland areas are just a few of the photographic spots on the private river estate.

Although we specialise in hosting weddings, we also host Matric Farewells, Birthday Parties, Kitchen Teas, Kiddies Parties, Conferences and Corporate Events
